Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a popular British film and stage actress which gained more attention because she was a part of the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones in the BBC series. She was the daughter of the main character who was named Martha Jones. People loved her joyous energy and spontaneity, and there was there was no turning back for Gugu after a successful career as an actor! Gugu has appeared on a variety of British television and stage series. The critical acclaim she has received is for her performance in the acclaimed 'Belle' (2013) the British period drama as well as "Beyond the Lights" (2014) the romantic comedy. The actress also appeared on American productions on television, including "Undercover" which is a Tom Hanks comedic movie, and the show "Touch". In 2015, Gugu Mbatha-Raw was the main character in 'Nell ' the play written by Jessica Swale, as a person who played an actress as well as the mistress to the king Charles II of England and Scotland. Gugu received plenty of praise from critics that were very pleased with her performance, and she was nominated for the prestigious "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for the Best Actress. Gugu was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire award (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth II for her outstanding contributions to the dramatic.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975 and was born in Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest of six kids in the family. Her parents were householders. Her father worked as a used car seller. Her mother was the daughter of a German Immigrant, who immigrated to America in the year 1958. United States in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in the year 1989. She died a decade after battling cancer. Handler's dad was Jewish and she was raised up Reform Judaism. Handler had a pleasant, healthy childhood living in a safe neighborhood. When she was 19 Handler relocated to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Handler began her career as an actress in order to assist her. But, at aged 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, because she realized her story telling skills. The beginning of her career Handler started her professional profession as part of the Oxygen network all-female cast for the hidden camera/comedy reality television series Girls Behaving Poorly. From 2002 to 2005, the series aired. The handler appeared in several shows, including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show The Practice as well as My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired for The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Her breakthrough came in 2006, after she started hosting her own program on E! The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for a total of two seasons. Handler performed at The Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil in the following year. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have aired her stand-up comedy shows. In 2010, she was tapped for the role of host at 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. It made her the 2nd female in history, following Roseanne Barr, who hosted the VMAs.
